Current Modifications:

As the car currently rides, the engine is a hybrid of the best USDM and JDM STI parts. The block is the current production US STI 2.5L, and the heads and cams are from the MY03 JDM STI RA Spec C. These were assembled with ARP Headstuds and stock Subaru 2.5 STI headgaskets. Since these heads have the AVCS variable valve system, additional wiring was added to allow installation of a Japanese Spec RA ECU with variable valve support. In addition to the engine internals, externally a complete intake and exhaust upgrade was performed. To allow greater amounts of boost on pump gas, an Aquamist 2D computer controlled water injection system was installed, along with a 5 gallon tank in the trunk. (20% methanol)

To hold all of the power together, a MY03 JDM STI 6 Speed transmission was installed, along with the JDM STI clutch and lightweight flywheel.  Air compression is achieved thru two different turbochargers depending on the application. Around town, the car runs a Forced Performance 'Green' Turbocharger, with the 6H exhaust wheel and 8cm exhaust housing.  At the track, a custom AVO Turboworld AVO600 turbo is used. This turbo is based on the GT35R cartridge, and flows about 65lbs/min.

For open track day racing, the suspension has also been upgraded. The car rides on Tein HA coilovers with 448 lbs springs, Adjustable camber plates, Perrin Rear Sway Bar and Endlinks, and Cusco front strut tower bar. For the track session, the tires are switched out for Kumo Victoracer race rubber.

Supporting electronics, gauges, fuel, and safety systems are also present.

Engine management is based on a PDXTuning reflashed JDM ECU, as well as a PDXTuning Tuned TurboXS UTEC.
